We contracted Diamond Construction to build our “dream home” after meeting the owner, Frank O’Hara, while visiting the Sotogrande area. We had been mulling over the idea of building a Villa for some time as we had been unable to find exactly what we wanted. During one of our many days driving around the area hoping for inspiration, we just happened to see a house under construction that appealed to us, luckily, Frank was on the site and gave us a tour of his almost completed house which he was building for a client. We were wowed, to say the least. This house offered it all. We talked with the home owners after completion and they couldn’t say enough about Franks talents in design and construction. Their own home inspector even gave glowing reviews: ”exceptionally high quality workmanship and design” is what I remember and he couldn’t have been more accurate.
Frank listens to your needs and wants and makes you write out a wish list and goes from there. We were involved every step of the way and enjoyed every moment and we learned a lot. If you’ve ever built, which we have done four times, you will know that building can be a very stressful ordeal. Not this time. We are absolutely thrilled with our design and the quality of work. Franks was always available to answer our questions and to discuss ideas or concerns. He knows house building and obviously loves every phase of it. We can’t say enough about Frank and his company. If you want your dream home I think you should check him out. You won’t be disappointed.

Our experience with Diamond Construction can be summed up in a comment made by Frank, the builder, as he turned the keys over to us: “take good care of my baby”. It was apparent throughout the design and building process that Frank & Gustavo were able to understand and help us make our vision a reality.
Frank has a great eye for both exterior and interior design and his recommendations were extremely helpful in making decisions on materials, design elements and finish ideas. His experience in home design and aesthetics quickly became apparent and dealing with one person who was both the designer and builder made communication exceptionally easy.
He was always available to answer questions throughout the process which helped speed the construction along; as we came in on timeline and budget. At no point, did we ever feel quality was compromised or we had to settle for something we did not want.
The overall design and building process was smooth, stress free, and FUN. The finished product exceeded our vision and the quality is apparent the minute you step in the front door. We feel our house is truly a Dream Home!
